Come Spring Food Pantry

We've moved! Now located at 27 Common Road, Union (across from the laundromat.) Open the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. The Come Spring Food Pantry provides food, and household products to Union, and the surrounding community. Donations are always appreciated! It is a 501-C3 organization.

Mildred Stevens Williams Memorial Library

The Mildred Stevens Williams Memorial Library or Appleton Library provides free library services for all members of our community. We offer print and non-print materials, computer access, literary programs for children and adults, and facilities for educational, charitable, cultural and artistic endeavors thereby encouraging a love of reading and learning for all. Thompson Memorial Association (TMA)

The Thompson Memorial Association is an organization dedicated to the operation and management of the complex of buildings in Union, Maine know as the Union School Building and the Thompson Memorial Building. The purpose of the TMA is to keep the complex open and available to the citizens of Union and surrounding areas as a place of community fellowship, individual and team recreation, business development and education, as well as a general community center.

Located just east of the Common, Vose Library serves Union, Maine and the surrounding area. Our mission is ‘to advance learning, inspire curiosity, enrich lives, and promote community’. We offer library materials, a StoryWalkⓇ/Nature Trail, free WiFi access inside and outside our library, hotspot lending, statewide Interlibrary Loan services (ILL), and programs for all ages!

Waldoboro Business Association

The purpose of the Waldoboro Business Association is to promote mutual support among members, encourage business growth, and recognize the importance of quality of life in our community. We are an association of 65 - 80 local and area businesses joined to promote our companies, products and services. Business After Hours meetings are held the last Monday of every month at 5:30pm at various business locations. Current member businesses are in Waldoboro, Warren, Friendship, Thomaston, Rockland, Rockport and Union.
